I try to install my NIC (macronix MX987xx)
and downloaded the patch for it.
it contans 4 files:

- bsubst
- bsubst.c
- install.sh
- uninstall.sh

when i install the patch i get the error that bsubst is missing, but its really there.

But before its installing it says:

warning "This script will apply patch to the Tulip driver for use with Macronix Ethernet chipset."

Do i need that tulip driver too?
And where can i get that one?

forgot to mention i am using beos 5 personal edition :)

You'll need to rename the bsubst file so that it is lowercase (the files included in the zip files are uppercase). Good luck and tell me if you have any luck in connecting your beos box to the network. For the elife of me I can't get it connected to my network.
