I have BeOS installed on a laptop with a built in Lucent Win modem and I can't find the drivers could anyone help?

be has lucent listed as a supported modem. So you should not need a driver your problem probly is that your modem is on com 3. (not sup[orted by beos. This can be changed in the bios. And you could get a cheap external modem for you com 1 or 2 serial/parallel port

I've just installed Windows 2000 on my pc and i don't know how to make my lucent win modem work, the sistem doesn't recognize it!

Thanks for your help.

Is this because of drivers? where can i get it?

i just installed windows XP on my computer. I did a full install and when i went to go online it said that it couldn't detect my modem. I have a Lucent win modem. I think it's my drivers so i went to get them from the place that made my computer and when i installed the new drivers it said that the Lucent modem wasn't "functional". please help me. thanks.

i have a problem with my internal modem, when i try to connect, a small sreen appear and says, the port already open, what can i do in this situation?
