hi all ... I always wanted a BeOS ... finally downloaded a BeOS R5 PE that day .. installed it on an extended FAT drive with a primary NTFS and another extended NTFS ...

BeOS seem to stop loading after the third icon lights up and throws me to Kernel Debugging Land ... does it have something to do wif my CPU?

I'm using a 1.4 Ghz P4 on an Intel 850BG m/board with 256 RAM and a geforce2 MX100/200...

please help .. .thanks a lot any way

Check the hardware compatibility list at FrizBe. P4 may have some issues with BeOS. There may be an add-on driver at BeBits, I'm not sure.

Yep, I think it is the 1-1.5gig (about) P4's. The newer ones seem to work fine. Maybe something to do with the goofy Rambus? There is a patch out there that should work.
