i have being trying to install the sims on to a pc,it loads then when i start to play the game it crashes back to the desktop so i was looking in the bios to see if something wasn`t right and at the bottom of the screen i noticed it said best performance and optical performance i think it was, so i pressed the relivent keys and exit &save but when i try to boot the system it stops after a couple of seconds and says..LOADING BOOT RECORD FROM IDE-0...OK...but nothing else happens and it won`t boot past that message,could somebody please help me..i have a 300 processor running win 98

Same exact problem, appeared out of no where. Computer worked fine yesterday, however, upon booting today it has that message. OS is 95 though, not 98. Please help if you can.
