Comment:

My Linksys LNE100TX(v4) NIC will not initialize. I checked the HCL and it says it will only support v1, 2, & 3. Can I "backlevel" my NIC to an earlier version? Does anybody know of a hardware or software solution for this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Go and buy the Netgear FA 310tx card.
It's an awesome card, fully supported and
it's under $25. The 3com 3C-905B
should also work perfectly, but I've always
used the netgear.

F*** that s***. Isn't there a driver or something out there for Be? I have an LNE100TX card too, and I don't want to have to f***ing buy another NIC.
