When i start my computer I receive a massage" Keyboard error or no keyboard present". I think that my keyboard is connected well. I troubleshoot the problem reconnecting the keyboard when the PC is still switched on. But this is again every time I start the computer.
Can you help me?

It sounds like you have a non-US keyboard. Some world market keyboards draw too much current. You need a better computer or keyboard is my guess. Does it always happen with BeOS R5.03 or does the Be Operating System Personal edition do it too?

This looks like a BIOS error message.

My dad's computer used to get this a lot (it was Windows Me). I would say the problem is with the keyboard. If your PC is quite old the keyboard socket (PS/2 I presume) might be a bit dodgy.

Maybe computing.net should move the beos link up under linux and also make a link for BIOS forums. I was just kidding about the beos. What ever the case, it is bad something that needs to get replaced and it ain't beos related is my guess. :)
Maybe it never works. I can't tell from the write up. It could be the keyboard fuse is blown. I am sure that is beyond the scope of most unless it is a very old AG fuse and removable. Safely repairing computers is way beyond the scope of what can be taught on a forum. Hey, a software fella even says, if it burns down the house don't blame me. Petar, take the computer to a trained service department. Even a small short can cause a fire. When you get it back or a new one then load up BeOS.
