I have been hearing great things about beOS for A/V & graphics. I downloaded th personal edition and now I want to install it, but I need a step by step on how to. I don't want to mess up what I have now. I want to dual boot w/Win98. My system is as follows: Asus P5A w/500 Mhz (motherboard) Creative Ensoniq AudioPCI (soundcard) ActionTEC 56k Modem Epson Stylus400 color (printer) Yamaha 8824EZ CD-RW Toshiba 6702b (CD-Rom) Voodoo3 3500 TV One more question, Does some windows applications run on beOS? Thanks

BeOS is Windows resident, meaning you can install it on a partition that already has windows loaded. It takes up exacly 512MB of space. To run it, you can double-click the EXE or boot your computer with a boot floppy. That should work, give it a try... installing BeOS won't mess up your current windows partition, and if you want to delete it, just delete the BeOS folder (mainly the 512MB file) and that's it.
