i have one hdd with a BeOS max system that crashed a few months ago [hdd B]. and now i have tweaked in my new beos, on [A], so its a good time to recover the mail, from hdd [B]. on the last hdd [B], i was using mozilla email, the one that comes with BeOS max v3 . i would like to know what the folder where the mail and settings, addressbook etc is, so i can copy this stuff to the other hdd [B] to [A]. then, i can clear wipe hdd [B] and clone hdd [A] back onto hdd [B] . hdd [A] fails the test from powermax 4.09; it will fail soon. but hdd [B] passed. tia

I have solved the problem myself. all i did was put in hdd B . mounted it, and went to /BeOSmax/home/config/settings/mozilla [B]
and dragged the folder into
/boot/home/config/settings/mozilla . [A] using the tracker.
then i went to /BeOSmax/home/Desktop and copied over the mozilla link, to /boot/home/Desktop . now i can do my emails as i did before. this is HOW to recover your emails from another hdd using mozilla .

now i can get to cloning hdd A back to hdd B, because hdd A is failing!

i hope this will help somebody else, with the same problem as me. thanks Mr X !
