Comment: I'm very new to the BeOS and I need to know how to use the floppy drive. There's no file manager that I can find and a lot of stuff I need to install to BeOS is on floppy. Can anyone help?

Reply: (edit)yeah you have to mount every disk in BEOS. You can set the computer to do this at boot, but for a cd or disk drive every time you insert a disk you have to mount it or you can turn on automount (much easier). SO how do you do this... 1. Right click on the desktop 2. Click on mount 3. there will be a list of all media 4. choose the disk to mount. You can mount any type of drive from windows to macOS. Hope this helped. If you need any other hekp in the os feel free to email me i can answer most questions.
