I have Dano 5.1 installed and i installed the HCF Modem via devices .. new modem .. serial port3

bone(yard) shows me only the above mentioned triModem -- i inserted the command string from the conexant-modem.log i found in my windows Dir .. AT&FE0V1S0=0&C1&D2+MR=2;+DR=1;+ER=1;W0<cr>

i have a 1034 chipset and i urgently need a driver ..

what can i do ?

My internal modem wasn't on the list of modems, so I just went down the list till one worked. I ended up with 3 modems that worked with mine.

Trimodem is your modem. Don't install any ports/or anything for any PCI adapter card. That is only for ISA cards.

Use trimodem just as you would the serial1 or what ever. Get the INIT strings at a modem self help site.

Now if it doesn't work then the problem may be the the trimodem file is using the hardware 1035 or 1033 and a few others. I get in trouble with the computing net dude when I explain how to fix that, he may or may not be correct in telling people not to modify files to get your newer hardware to work. It is his site though and I will respect that. I would search for trimodem 1035 1033 and see if there is any way you might get it to work.
