There are *NO* drivers for BeOS for
your soundcard ! I should know because I
have the exact same soundcard. My guess is
you're running an IBM PC 300GL, if you got
the soundcard with your system.

There are no Linux drivers either, and the
Windows 2000 drivers don't work very well,
but it's a relatively new and relatively rare
card, so there should be drivers for these
two systems soon enough. I don't know about
BeOS though.

ESS 1868 Audiodrive is the EXACT sound card I have, I've got a CD with all the drivers on it for DOS, Win31, Win95, and WinNT. But not BeOS of course. Want the drivers I've got?

GRRR,
I've got a compay lap with the card in it. I tried the driver, but somehow the silence stays. Is this because i need to remove the other drivers from bin or something? Were do you copy your sounddrivers and how do you link them?? It sucks to be a newbie again...

I dont have the drivers neither, and im using win98 SE

The card works fine with the old drivers i got from a "Golden melodies" disk, but somehow until now, it has managed to work. This week it didnt work, the wave sound doesnt work, only by using Direct Sound i can get the sound working. If i download the newest drivers, windows wont even know that the card is there. So ffs couls someone help me 2 with these drivers? Plz?

Well...

Windows 95/98/ME: Click the link on the top.
Windows 2000/XP: It should be natively supported by the operating system.
Windows NT 4.0: Click the link on the top
Windows 3.1: click on the link on the top
BeOS (whatever that is): Nothing.
Linux: Nothing.
