I suppose its connected to an ordinary network interface card? Do that card work properly? is it supported by BeOS?
If it is supported and setup allright fill in account information in the network properties.

Perhaps there is a bug in 'ppp' file that doesn't allow to send login/password without changing line status. But I don't know this for sure. BeOS connect with HiS for about 3 minutes and then it disconnect.
HiS 1.5 is Home internet Solution. The HiS terminal is connected with phone and computer by V.24/RS-232 port. I can't write something more because I don't know how.
