My modem, is an external modem connected to the rs 232 interface. It's working with 115 kbps. The same modem has my ISP.
In windows it's connected by com1.
To run this in windows i would have to download some "nullmodem" driver from the site :
http://www.kevin-wells.com/net/

if you can check this (it is in english so you would understand more than me:-)

I've tried to connect by BeOs using com1, and choosing from the modem list (increased by the drivers added from Bebits) some GENERIC modems or even only generic comands AT, or generic direct connection.

and nothing.
it always begin to work, and in the login window, instead of some at commands i can see only:
^^{}(){)({}{}^^{}0()7{}90[[)){}
something like this, ...hours, hours, and hours.
connecting connecting and can't connect.

i know only that it should besomething like
comunication cable between two PC - driver.

do you have some idea what i need??

thanks a lot. for some help.
