Problem:

While working on a computer, Student B notices that each time the computer is shut down and restarted, there is a 'configuration error', and the CMOS has to be automatically reconfigured and saved before the computer will boot. What are some likely causes of this problem, and how would you troubleshoot it? IBM PC 300GL

Please...
*List three possible causes for the problem.
*The steps you would follow to troubleshoot the problem.
