Hi y'all.. I have a Compaq 1200XL laptop with a Conexant SoftK56 modem in it, which BeOS does not recognize. It shows up under Devices, as Communication Device, with the accurate IRQ, memory range, etc, but when I try to select a modem under DUN it says that all serial ports are disabled. I read that one is supposed to disable PNP in the BIOS and make a jumpered device... Unhappily, I have a Compaq with a custom BIOS. Also, I heard about a 'Trimodem' driver that could work... But one has to do a 65 meg download to get it. Can anyone help me with it?
