Comment:
I have a PCI network card from CNet (Pro 200WL).
It does not show up in the network preferences. What do I do ?

I tried downloading some drivers available online thru bebits.com etc. but i am not sure what to do after files are copied to the right locations ? any help will be appreciated.
I've been trying to get this thing working for a while.

Thanks,
--Roshan

The easy story is get a realtek card.
Otherwise you will need to write a new driver. Cost realtek $5. Cost driver $?

what would be a good starting point to write a driver. i'd imagine that one will need some reference docs from the Network card manufacturer. but i dont see any easy way to get that. besides what about the docs for the devide driver kit in beos

on the other hand... are realtek cards that work with beos easily available ?
