Can anyone tell me if i can alter my boards AGP 1.0 to x4? If not would this cause problems with my Radeon 64DDr card? Also any suggestions for a Motherboard upgrade? P111 700 394mb sd100 ram.

hi robin i'm soory i can't help with the AGP issue, are you running the P111 700 on you chaintech motherboard. i'm looking to upgrade my processor and video card and thought the 6btm would only go to P11 550. any feedback appreciated. if you are did you do a bios update, i've just tried to update mine and getting an EMM or QEM error. i have a creative live 1024 sound card and think the emmulation driver might be conflicting. cheers mick

You can not set the AGP to 4x on Chaintech 6BTM because it's a BX board. But I'm using 2x on my ATi Xpert2000 32mb. My CPU is Celeron633 overclocked to 1064 (112*9.5) 1.95v running 100% stable with the newest update for the BIOS i think it's 08/17/2000 it runs fine with an older one too but i alos have a Maxtor 40GB 7200 and that's why i'm using the latest bios

I have a 6btm, just thought Id upgrade my processor to a p3 550. I updated the bios to the latest version and when I made the switch to this faster processor it doesnt start up i get a siren coming from the pc speaker - Is the CPU Blown?
