I have not been able to install the newest Opera release
for BeOS. I downloaded it bu there appears to be no
application that can open the installer zip. Has anyone
else had problems with this? Thanks

Is that a PPC you're running Be on ? (you mention youve got a 604e)..the Opera installer unfortunately is x86 only..it's a real drag 'cuz there's just *no* other browsers available for the PPC version of BeOS (not even the Net Positive beta 3x..it's intel only also..)
...that's why it likely won't install..even
though the installer has the 'bin' extension..it's not the PPC 'bin" executable...
If, however, you are running BeOS on an x86....you might want to redownload it from a different server..i found two of the servers had corrupted files....

Thanks for you reply. Yes, it is a PPC (Mac 8500 with a
dual-processor card from a 9600). I guess I'll stick with
NetPositive.
