Hi,

I've just installed BeOS Personal Edition 5 (downloaded from bebits.com) and I can't manage to boot it :(
I get the picture of that BeOS boot screen, it seeks something on my floppy, and I see the little colored square in the right-top corner of my screen blinking, but after a moment, my computer just reboots.... Any ideas how to solve this problem ? I _really_ want to test this OS which seems fascinating.

Here is my detailed configuration:
- Leadtek Motherboard K7N CR18D-Pro
- AMD Athlon XP 1800+
- 2x256Mb DDR-RAM PC2700 (333)
- IBM 40Gb Hard Drive (Ata 133)
- SUMA Platinum GeForce4 Ti 4200
- LaCie USB2.0 PCI Card
- Hauppauge WinTVGO

BeOS is installed on a NTFS partition (running Windows XP Professional SP1 Build 2600)

BeOS PE can`t boot from NTFS partition. Try to install it on another partition with FAT32 or -better- install Deved 1.1 or Max ed. from CD and make with it native BeOS file system.

Just to make a comment, BeOS CAN boot off of an
NTFS partition, but it has to be one formatted with
Windows 2000 or lower. Windows XP changed the
NTFS a little bit and therefore BeOS can not be
booted from a Windows XP NTFS partiton.
