Ok, its obviuos im not going to get my existing Proxim wireless network to work with beos on my laptop, shame to its been a great and in-expensive set of equipment. But now to my new question. What is out their (cheapest) that I can use for wireless networking with my laptop and BEOS? I do have a USB port if you think a usb network might be good, but looking for info on what others are using that work, and that the drivers are already outthier.

I am still waiting for someone to test this. There is a dano install, it has some support for usb_acm devices. I don't think that is your best choice. Rather there is a Bone7a that has most of the common 802.11b card drivers in it. I think that one would have to have a Dano R5.1d install and ONLY remove the drivers needed from the bone install zip inside of a zip file. Bone7a can be installed over a R5.0x install. When I did it, it crashed and is still broken. (the uninstaller is broken) However, like I said, get the drivers out of the bone install and use them on your machine and LET us know.
