For those of you wondering whether it is possible: Yes, it is. This message is being written in Opera 3.62 for BeOS, in BeOS R5 Pro running in Virtual PC for Windows 5.0.
Screen is VESA 2.0 800x600 16bit (with VESA Accepted from www.bebits.com). Internet access is ADSL via Win2k server running NAT.

I can provide screenshots, if there are unbelievers :P

Good!
Dunno if I would spend $229 for software when I could get a whole computer for less.

Web site tell more.
It is a way to load other OS's under a primary OS. Not like dual boot rather both run at the same time an talk to one another so at least some extent. Virtual PC is much faster than boch's because it is written to use installed hardware. Boch and BeBochs uses emulation. It is slower but free if you with to try. I had open beos working under beos. The doc's on boch are difficult to use. A guy at work had a not so legal copy of VPC and was impressed. He didn't pay the $229 so that may be part of it.

I have nothing for or against Virtual PC and own no stock in any software company or hardware company that I have any say so over.

How's the response? Also on what hardware are you running this on? I've gotten BeOS R5.03 to run under VMWare but never really used it. I know BeOS runs under the Mac version of VPC but even on Apple's most powerfull system I've heard speed is horrible. VPC does not support SMP on the Mac version.
