Comment:

I've got an HP ze1230 laptop and would like to get BeOS working on it. Its been a while since I've had access to BeOS on any system and I'm starting to feel withdrawl, lol. It's got S3 TwisterK video (Savage family from what I hear), Conexant on-board Audio, and the rest I can't remember right now (not currently at my laptop). Any help at all would be appreciated.

If it is an AthlonMP you will need a bootdisk made from a patched system. Read http://wiki.bebits.com/page/InstallingOnAthlonXPorMP option 2 or 3.

Get over to Frizbe.net for hardware ideas.

Get over to Bebits.com for apps
Also Tucows.com

Conextant might work with a dano file, trimodem.
