BeOS PE 5 Boot problem

While booting BeOS it gives the following error message and halts:
Boot failure:was unable to mount /dev/disk/virtual/fmap/0/0_0 type bfs on /boot

I'm having this problem also. I think it is because BeOS reads the BIOS drive partition table and I have a drive overlay that maps my large capacity hard drive to a geometry that my legacy BIOS can interpret. Since BeOS can't find the right drive characteristics it chokes when it tries to mount the boot volume. You can try booting into safe mode by pressing and holding space bar, and changing some of the boot options around.
