Last winter I tried to put Be on a G4.I was unsuccessful but I'm thinking I'll try again by either using VMWare or by installing Linux with an extra swap partition and then put Be on that.

Well, way I heard it, and I researched it a little when Apple released that nifty, titanium laptop, I wanted it, but I wanted it with a decent OS, so I thought I could run BeOS on it. But what I came up with was that Apple wouldn't release the necessary information to Be Inc. that they could port BeOS to their new processors, so that's the reason it won't work on a new Mac. But don't quote me on that one.
