Friends,
I can get a pretty good deal on an IBM laptop, i series 1300 thinkpad...but have some questions regarding the feasability of my end application.
The application I would like to use requires BeOS and USB support. Keeping in mind that I am a Windows hack with very little linux experience, what are my odds of getting this to work?
Any advise you could offer would be most appreciated.

Uhci USB is supported in the common versions. Ohci is supported with a leaked (but everyone has it) version they call dano 5.1. What app do you wish to run? Is it a BeOS app? Check with Frizbe.net for other hardware that might help you get started.
