BeOS on G3 Powermac????

CPU/Ram: AMD K-6 398megs,LC4 to G3

My jaw just about dropped to the floor when i read

smewhere someone was running BeOS on a G3..is it

possible, or did i misread? I was under the

impression apple hadn't released the necessary

specs for it to be compiled for G3's..if it's

possible i'm gonna run, not walk, to my B&W and put

it on now..!

Me again..i guess i did misread after all..it was a mac with a G3 upgrade

card..not a regular G3..such a shame..i really think the BeOS would have

shown more potential than BSD as the base for OSX ..unix is, after all, at

least as old as dos whereas BeOS is (was?) new and fresh.

Oh well....
