Comment:

I have BeOS Max installed in its own partition (after I made a boot CD with Nero) in a multi-boot setup next to WinXP. It installs and boots and runs smoothly. I have one little niggle, though.

There appears to be no tool within the GUI for shutdown. I cannot even find a menu item from the toolbar to do this. I had to settle for the ol' three finger salute.

Any clues/advice/suggestions?

Thanks,

Douglas

Odd. On every BeOS there is an application menu. On it there should be things like Applications, Preferences, Shutdown and others. What happens when you click on the Max logo?
