I'm starting to get into the world of beos again and I have 4gb left on my hd on which windows 98 currently resides and i want to replace that with BeOS. But i can't decide over max or dano. But still im not picky (I used to use personal edition off a 2gb drive.)

Thanks.

You have plenty of room for both. Beos is small enough for 2G.
The bootfloppy for each needs to be different if you use bootfloppies.

Ok thanks Jefro for the answer. I know the filename for dan0 but do you know any other links for the latest max edition :) (beos.spb.ru is down).
Thanks in advance.

If you were to get a beos install going then get on beshare. I would suggest you try the Developers Editon 1. from beosonline. It is stable and you can alway add in apps to any distro.

The dano and phos would be good on another partition. I prefer phos6. Do a search for that.

I would get a developer's CD burned and install it to about 1G or so. Maybe more if you wish. Then you can use the "Installer" app to install from and install to.

Get on beshare for real time help. See bebits and bezip. As always ask here too.
