Hi everybody,
BeOS MAX Installation (safe mode) hangs while copying files. I tried several times but it still hangs but not on the same file.
I've initialized a 7 GB partition on a drive where there is already an XP partition and a Linux swap one.
Can someone help me ?

Kind of hard to guess. Some machines might need bios setting set to the slowest or default speeds. Some machines require the best quality IDE cables. It could be that the CD has some sort of defects or the drive doesn't like the burned CD.

I just don't know which way to tell you to test. Might see if a friend would let you try that CD on an old machine. There hasn't been a good way to test BeOS CD's with an md5 system.

Guess you could try to download the Personal Edition from bebits and see if there is a driver issue going on. The Max has many newer drivers that your system might not need.
