Hi, I have BeOS on my decktpo PC for 1 year and it works perfect. Recently I tried to install PE on a laptop, unsuccessfuly. It freezes during boot, on the second icon. Does anybody know what's wrong?

BeOS wasn't really designed with laptops in mind, and there isn't much support for the typical laptop chipsets. It could be that BeOS doesn't agree with the hardware or the BIOS (which is often non-standard as well) of your laptop.

OK, I just was interesting in what the second icon shows up - problems with hardware maybe?
