Hello everyone,

Yes i know Be Inc. is gone and its a dang shame too, but does anyone know if /where i could download BeOS Personal Edition for a Max PowerPC?? Are there still any mirror sites (ftp or http) up???? please email me at eachubb1@yahoo.com

Be is quite gone, except for the lawyers. I recently loaded a copy of 4.5.2 onto an old Power Computing box, and am setting it up. You can download a copy from http://www.tucows.com look under their BeOS page. I don't know where they will point you, but the mirrors seem to be up.

There has never been a "Personal Edition" for the PowerPC!
All versions for PPC after PR2 (Preview Release 2) have been commercial.
