Comment:

When I migrated to BeOS from windoze, I put my fonts on a jaz disk and copied them to BeOS -- like it says in the manual, but BeOS only picks up 3/4 of them. ALL of them work under MS. Anybody know why?

Make sure you put the fonts in the correct directory. If they are TTF fonts they go in "/boot/home/config/fonts/ttfonts", as is. PS fonts go in "/boot/home/config/fonts/psfonts" Then run Be | Preferences | Fonts, and click 'Rescan'.

Bear in mind, you will only be able to use certain fonts for certain things. Eg. You cant use 'normal' fonts, for fixed font settings, and the like.
