Comment:
Hey,
does anybody know how to boot BeOS on a compaq presario 700 model?
I tried many things, such as set safe-mode options, but nothing runs.
The system permanently boots, again and again, and even the atom icon doesn't light up.
Extra question: is there any way to have a trace on a floppy or on disk, because the "Enable console debugging" show nothing.

Thx in advance.
Cake

Well, the rebooting is an AMD thing. Since you didn't say I must guess.

See [[http://wiki.bebits.com/page/InstallingOnAthlonXPorMP]]

Just need to get the bootfloppy made from a patched system at link. Then you can edit the kernel_intel file if you wish.
