I have a new Asus A7V motherboard which has a Promise ATA 100 built on to the motherboard. I also have an ATI All-in-wonder 128 Pro video card. I can't get BEOS Pro 5.0 to install. It installed fine on my Compaq which also has an ATA 100 controller. The difference is that the drive in the compaq is a ATA 66 drive not a 100. Any thoughts?

Haven't been able to boot off of the promise controller. Can boot from the main at-66 controller though. Had to use vesa mode with this matrox g450 (no drivers) card, not sure if it is the agp pro slot or not. vesa mode works though.

BeOS doesn't support any ATA100 controller currently. Sorry.
DO you try to downgrade your HD to ATA66?
