BeAIM Disconnecting

Is it just my computer, or is BeAIM unable to connect? When I try to connect it immediately disconnects each time.

It is not just you. I have been having the same problem too. I am able to log on for about half a second and then get disconnected. Does anybody know if there is a way to fix this? Thanks.

I'd like to try the fix but I can't figure out how to compile BeAIM from the source. Can you help me out?

I found out how to get on now!!!
BeAIM is trying to connect too fast. Slow down your machine by running Teapot BEFORE running BeAIM.
When Teapot is running, it puts a heavy load on the processor, which slows BeAIM down enough to log on at a lower speed.
