Comment:
I have recently installed BeOS 5 on my pc.I have a built -in soundcard on my motherboard, the soundcard being a cmi8330 one. However there seems to be a problem as it is unable to play any sounds.Even in the preferences tab,the audio device listings show IRQ conflicts, eventhough there seems to be no such problem in windows.I have even tried disabling the conflicting audio devuces and setting up new jumpered devices in accordence with their actual settings in win98,but still it doesn't seem to work. Can you please help me out?
Yep, you may need to move the position of the cards or even play with the bios to force or assign irq's to slots. Are you saying that you have two audio cards? Also there is an update to the PE that solves some audio problems if you haven't already installed it.
