HI all !!! I try to install BeOS for e few days - no luck at all :-(( I made boot disk, I made all partition procedures.When I boot from floppy it freezes like everybody tell here. When I boot from CD it seems to be ok, BUT!!! also freezes on that fifth icon, and now it ask to put BeOS CD-ROM!!! cd-rom is inside, but BeOS boot can't recognize it, what should I do now? thanks all wisemen
I bet if we knew what hardware you were trying to use, your system configuration, and perhaps detailed information about what, precisely, it was that you did, we might even be able to figure out what's causing the problem.
oh sorty,I forgot:) Celeron 500, 128 ram, VIA chipset,WinXP pro. I tried to install on PIII 800, Intel 815 chipset,256 ram, WinME, or even with no aditional OS, the same result :(
