I have a speedtouch usb modem, and i cant get it workin under beos 5 pe. i am newbe, so not to difficult with solutions.

i also have also some experience with Linux/Win2k

I don't believe there is a driver for the Alcatel USB for BeOS. Your best bet is to trade in the Alcatel USB for an ethernet modem and then buy a cheap NIC. Or, If you really know what you're doing, try porting the Linux Alcatel USB driver to BeOS.
