I have a AOpen K77-333 mot Motherboard with Ac97 onboard sound. I also have a 5.1 speaker system. About 4 months ago, when I got the speaker system, the Ac97 would switch the center speaker and the subwoofer, and would try to put the bass through the center speaker and so on. I found a patch for the control program which gave me and extra check box to switch the center speaker with the subwoofer and fixed the problem. I just had to reinstall WinXP and lost the update, and now I can't find it. If anybody knows where it is, I would really love to know.
