I'm having a deuce of a time getting my PCMCIA NIC to be recognized. Tucows has a cardwiz that sees the slot and the card, but identifies it as an NE2000 compatible, which it's not. The model is 3CCFE574BT. Any assistance is greatly appreciated...

Have you checked that the card is compatible? (I can't remember the exact url, search for 'hardware compatability list' at be.com, also www.frizbe.net) if it's not on that list, check for drivers at bebits.com. Also, try reading betips.net and befaqs.com for help.
