after the down load I can not restart my tablet, all I get is a couple of flashes It said the download was complete and it was going to reset my unit
If you didn't get the Android update from Toshiba it's probably not compatible. Toshiba have not released v4.1 Android update for the Excite tablet yet, it's due later this year. The latest compatible version is Android 4.0 You'll have to reset it to factory defaults or return it to Toshiba for fixing.
